WITH YOUR CAR FROM ATHENS TO VATHI
If you want to come to Vathi with your own car or you have rented a car, then you can easily come from Athens in about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Following the Attiki Odos and then the Athens - Corinth National Road, immediately after the Isthmus, go right at exit 10 (Corinth - Epidavros) and immediately after, turn left, under the bridge, on the road that leads to the Baths of Beautiful Helen and continues to Epidaurus.
Drive for about 40 minutes and reach the junction for Epidaurus. Just before you will see signs to Poros or Spetses. At the intersection, turn right and immediately turn left, under the bridge.
Continue on this road, meeting on your right the supermarket "Vassilopoulos" . A little further down you meet another intersection, in which there is a sign that points "towards Poros". At this point you will turn left and continue on your way to Poros.
After about 25 minutes you will reach the settlement of Agioi Apostoloi, where you will find a crossroads with signs, right for Poros and left for Methana. You will follow the route on the left to Methana.
You will pass through the villages "Metamorfosi", "Taktikoupoli" and going down you will meet the narrowest part of the Methana peninsula, Kolones, long before Methana. At this point there is a sign to our left towards Vathi. There you will turn left and following the coastal road, in a few minutes you will pass the beach of Magoula and then you will be in Vathi.
The road you follow is an extension of the National Road, quite good and for the overall route from Athens to Vathi, at an average speed, you need about 2 hours and 15 minutes.

WITH THE FERRY BOAT FROM PIRAEUS TO METHANA
From the Piraeus port there are ferry boat departures from the company "Saronic Ferries", which accept passengers and vehicles. The trip lasts approximately for two hours with a middle stop in Aegina island.

FROM METHANA TO VATHI
To get from Methana to Vathi use your own means of transport or the local transport "Methana - Vathi" or a taxi from Methana .
If you have your own means of transport then from the port of Methana you take the coastal road that leads to Poros. After a few minutes you will find the narrowest part of the Methana peninsula, Kolones.
At this point there is a sign to your right to Vathi. There you will turn right and following the coastal road, in a few minutes you will pass the beach of Magoula and then you will be in Vathi in about 20 minutes.
BY TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT ...
From Athens Airport or from Piraeus Port you can get to Vathi by taxi in about 2 hours and 15 '
